The Flsun QQ-S Pro is an affordable delta 3D printer offering a fairly large build volume of Ø 255 x 365 mm and ease-of-use features such as automatic bed leveling and the possibility to remotely control the printer via Wi-Fi connectivity.
Delta 3D printers have some nice benefits, typically high print quality at soaring speeds, due to the print head suspension’s mechanical arrangement and the fact that the print bed is not moving. The QQ-S Pro looks like it’s shaping up to be a solid recommendation for users that want to explore delta 3D printing.
As such, now’s as good a time as any to look into the printer’s specs to find out more.
Delta printers are a mechanically unique form of FDM printers, characteristically equipped with a circular print bed. The extruder is suspended above the print bed by three arms, rather than fixed axes, in a triangular configuration – hence the name “delta.” Due to the mechanical arrangement, delta printers are typically capable of tall prints at a high print speed and quality, but at the cost of somewhat confined lateral build volume.
The Flsun QQ-S Pro, however, offers a build volume of Ø 255 x 360 mm, which is about the same size as mid-sized printers such as the Creality Ender 3 V2 in terms of the print bed (although round and not rectangular) but houses a considerably higher Z-axis height if you want to go for extra tall prints. According to the manufacturer, the QQ-S Pro is capable of printing speeds up to 120 mm/s.
Like its predecessor, the QQ-S, the Pro version comes with a lattice platform and a composite coating, which allows for fast heating and less warping and provides strong adhesion during the print. What’s more, prints can also be taken off easily once the print is completed and the bed has cooled. It is basically Flsun’s version of the often-copied Anycubic Ultrabase. With prints coming loose as the bed cools off, there should be no more need for scrapers, hairspray, glue sticks, and the mess that accompanies them.
According to the manufacturer, the printing bed reaches up to 110 °C in about 5 minutes, theoretically allowing for a wide range of consumer filaments, including temperature-sensitive ones like ABS, to be used without any problems.
Another neat function the QQ-S Pro has up its sleeve is its automatic bed leveling. The printhead is equipped with an auto-leveling sensor measuring 21 points mesh across the print plate. This should ensure perfectly level and smooth first layers on every print. As it is a delta printer and therefore has a fixed – nonmoving – printing bed, it only needs to be auto-leveled once, making it especially simple for beginners.
Another novelty Flsun promotes for the QQ-S Pro is the self-developed titan extruder specifically designed to handle flexible filaments better, despite being mounted to the frame and feeding filament via Bowden tube. The extruder should allow for smooth feeding of filament and powerful extrusion. With a maximum temperature of 270 °C, the QQ-S Pro is set to handle all common print filaments such as ABS PLA, PVA, and wood as well as flexible materials.
The controller board is the brain of any 3D printer, responsible for orchestrating components like the extruder, heated bed, motors, and sensors. So, the more power you’ve got in there, the smoother the printer operates.
The QQ-S Pro is equipped with a 32-bit motherboard allowing for stable prints even at high printing speed. The printer further features a touchscreen and Wi-Fi connection, so you can connect and control the printer remotely – a pretty rare sight on printers within this price range. If that’s not your jam, you can always use the traditional way of transferring files, via a USB stick.
Additional features on the Flsun QQ-S Pro include:
The Flsun QQ-S Pro currently retails for ~$330. Given its features, the price tag is quite competitive. Although being unique in its mechanical arrangement and the printing possibilities that come with it, delta printers are somewhat hard to come by in the budget sector. With its Wi-Fi connectivity, automatic bed leveling, and other features, the QQ-S Pro stands out amongst the few of its kind.
Although the Flsun QQ-S Pro has been around for a while, it has been flying somewhat under the radar, it seems that delta printers just don’t get as much attention as they used to a couple of years back.
However, there are a fair few reviews of this printer on the internet, confirming it to have an easy assembly alongside general ease-of-use and high print quality. If you are looking for a capable delta printer, or just want to see what the difference is to your cartesian 3D printer, the FLSUN QQ-S Pro might be right for you.

The FLSUN QQ-S is the Pro’s predecessor, featuring much the same specs and features but for the Wi-Fi connectivity. If you prefer the traditional method of using a USB stick, you can save up on some bucks here.
With its price tag of around $160, the Monoprice Delta Mini is quite possibly the most affordable delta 3D printer out there. For the price, you get a heated print bed and Wi-Fi connectivity, the latter being even more of a rarity at its price point. Keep in mind the print area is tiny, though, at just Ø 110 x 120mm.
At the higher end of the price spectrum, the Monoprice Delta Pro presents a professionally built machine with a build volume of Ø 270 x 300 mm paired with automatic bed leveling, a large intuitive touchscreen interface, and whisper-quiet drivers for near-silent operation.
