November isn’t just about giving thanks, monochromatic weekends and raiding your local superstore for a new TV. In China, November 11 signals Single’s Day, a celebration of being single, partying as a singleton and splurging on that special something for yourself.

In recent years the celebration has become the biggest single day of spending in the world, eclipsing Black Friday and Cyber Monday for the number of transactions taking place.

Outside of Asia however, Single’s Day doesn’t quite match up to Black Friday for media coverage, but that doesn’t mean you can’t take part – the likes of GearBest, Banggood and AliExpress all ship either internationally or from local warehouses, meaning it’s a grand opportunity to pick up a competitively priced Chinese 3D printer for a bit less than usual.
