The designer recommends printing this model with a 0.15-mm resolution (layer height) and a 10% infill. They also listed that the model needs supports but rafts don’t matter, so do what you think is best for your printer.

This mail delivery owl statue is another Remix from the same popular owl that the previous design was based on, this time with the designer adding a mail carrier sling. The designer also mirrored the owl’s stance so that it’s facing the other way.
The owl is standing on a half log, and there’s an immense amount of detail on the feathers, feet, and face. As seen in the image above, post-processing can yield an impressive finish.
The designer recommends printing this model with a 50% infill and at 50% scale. At that size, it used approximately 21 grams of material and took two hours to print. Additionally, the creator listed the model at a medium level of complexity.

Lifelike
This next owl is beautifully detailed. Each feather is outlined on the owl, making it look super realistic. That’s likely due to the fact that the designer used photogrammetry to 3D scan a life-size owl statue to create the model. After scanning, the maker used Blender to smooth the design and Meshmixer for the model’s final edits.

Geometric Face

Pixelated
Pixels make up what’s on digital screens, but they also make up this exciting owl design. This model is yet another Remix of two other owl designs (including the one we’ve mentioned), which inspired the designer to create an 8-bit and 16-bit pixelated version of the owls. The designer used Blender to create the pixelation texture.
Although the creator of this design provides no printing suggestions, a recorded maker posted a great model, stating that they used ABS with a 20% infill for the print.
