Every year for the 4th of July, we look forward to a three-day weekend and the chance to gather and celebrate the best version of America: one that values life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
We’ve gathered a range of prints for Independence Day to enhance your chosen celebration, whether you’re commemorating the day or just feeling patriotic. Our list is divided into six categories: accessories for your kitchen, wearables, fun stuff, decorations, cookie cutters, and American symbols and monuments.
If you see something you’d like to get 3D printed but don’t have the means or your printer’s already enjoying the days off, consider using Craftcloud. You’re ensured professional handling of all orders, from small to large.
Now, let’s get to those picks!
In this section, we’ll show you some awesome 4th-of-July-themed kitchen accessories that’ll fit right in with all of your other holiday decorations. You can better organize your food and refreshments with these 3D printed accessories. Enjoy!
Make your desserts ready for the 4th by stamping out decorations in red, white, and blue! Fondant stamps can be a great way to visually spice up your desserts. This project includes a few different fondant stamp models – each with a unique, patriotic pattern that you can add to cakes or other desserts, as seen in the image above.
The designer achieved great prints with a 0.1-mm layer height and a 100% infill density, settings that they found yielded a good surface quality. They mentioned, however, that you could use another layer height and infill settings. While they didn’t recommend a specific brand, they suggested printing in PLA – it’s worth checking that it’s one of the food-safe options.
This 4th-of-July-themed coaster is great for keeping your furniture circle-free and your guests with a place to put down their drinks. The design has a “Happy 4th of July” surrounded by a flag, so it’s perfect for an Independence Day party.
The designer recommends printing this coaster at a 0.1-mm layer height with a 15% infill.
Toothpicks are great for holding food together or adding a little decoration, so why not go for 3D printed party toothpicks?
The design has a couple of different models, one with a ribbon and one with a star. And because plastic is stronger than the standard wooden toothpicks, these can be used multiple times.
The design isn’t too complicated either as it’s flat. Just make sure to use food-safe filament as this will be going through your food.
If your 4th of July will feature some desserts such as cakes or cupcakes, and the toothpicks above aren’t notable enough for your liking, then go ahead and print some of these stakes out to give your treats a much-needed festive appearance.
While these prints are technically designed to be garden stakes, and you can certainly decorate your garden for the occasion with them, they’re also perfectly useable as cake toppers. Just be sure to use food-safe materials for these.
This American flag-themed koozie is ideal for keeping your drink cold. The design holds a standard soda or beer can, so cheers to that!
The design is a little complex as it has a pattern that’s on a cylindrical plane, meaning supports are recommended. Additionally, it’s advised to print the model at a 0.4-mm layer height with a 5% infill to limit the printing time.
You can use a marker or acrylic paint to make different colors. A Sharpie works too!
This design is a cool food organizer that holds whatever you’re serving in the letters U, S, and A. You could even color each letter to have one red, one white, and one blue!
The platter plates are large so you’ll likely want to print one at a time. They’re flat so no overhangs or supports are needed. Keep in mind that these plates will be touching your food so make sure you print them in a food-safe filament.
The 4th of July has a lot of potential for themed wearables, so why not 3D print a few pieces yourself?
If you’re going to a 4th of July party, make sure to stay classy with this 3D printable patriotic bow tie. It can be printed in one piece if you have a multicolor printer (or one equipped with a multi-material upgrade), but if you don’t have one, you can also print each segment individually to achieve a patriotic color scheme. You can also check out the assembly video to learn more about how to make this bow tie!
The designer suggests gluing the center sections and threading each part one at a time if you print each segment separately. A 0.2-mm layer height and a 20-30% infill density were used to print the bow tie’s components. Most of the pieces shouldn’t require support structures as long as you orient the flat side down, but the designer does recommend using supports to print the center (innermost) piece.
Nothing says 4th of July like popsicles and firecrackers. Get festive with your jewelry by printing a pair of these adorable earrings. You can scale them up for a bigger pair should you need, though the designer has also uploaded a larger model.
If earrings aren’t your thing, you can find a keychain version of this model available as well for a great last-minute addition for your festivities.
This multicolored bracelet is a nice accessory for a 4th of July gathering. Depending on who it’s for, you’ll want to size the model up or down.
The designer recommends printing on a dual extruder, but most people don’t have that. A workaround is to print the separate parts with a single extruder, then paint and assemble them later. You can use glue to put these bracelets together and acrylic paint or even a Sharpie for color.
Keychains are a great way to show your interest or support in topics, and this 3D printable American flag is perfect for the 4th of July. The model has a small hole at the top so you can loop it in with a keyring.
It’s also worth pointing out that the design is a single print that’s meant to be printed in multiple colors. However, you don’t need a dual-extrusion printer to achieve the red, white, and blue flag design in the image above. The designer separated the heights of the features of the flag, allowing you to use mid-print filament swaps to achieve the correct color scheme for the flag.
The creator of this model recommends using a layer height of either 0.1 or 0.2 mm, as this will allow for precise filament changes and no overlaps. No other printing advice was provided, though, so you’ll have to use your own settings.
Looking for something to help you or the little ones pass the time while you’re waiting for the fireworks to begin? We have a few patriotic prints to keep you entertained.
Flexible prints are everywhere and for good reason: They’re generally pretty easy to print and are fun to play with. This model is no exception; it’s small enough to print fairly quickly and will prove fun to play with for children and adults alike.
Especially for those impatient guests who keep crowding around the grill and staring at the veggies and ribs, willing them to cook faster.
You’ll find both a solid-color as well as a multicolor option available for download. If you’re looking for some appropriately-themed toys to print for friends and family for your gathering, this is a fine choice.
You may have seen many amazing airless ball prints floating around, such as the airless basketball. Now, you can print and play with your very own airless football, enjoying a quick game with the family while waiting for the food to finish cooking.
You’ll want to use either TPU or flexible PLA to ensure that the ball is bouncy and doesn’t shatter on its first impact with the ground (not that you won’t catch it!). The designer has plenty of videos showcasing the ball in use as well.
It doesn’t get more red, white, and blue than Captain America’s iconic shield. This 3D printable yo-yo design features Cap’s patriotic shield design on the exterior frame, making the project both a fun way to spend an evening and also show your patriotism.
The yo-yo design is split into four parts, and you’ll have to print a few of them in different colors to make the different rings and the star of the shield stand out. As you might expect, red, white, and blue is the suggested color scheme. To make this yo-yo functional, you’ll also need some string to tie around the centerpiece so you can use the toy.
Unfortunately, no printing tips were provided for this project, so you’ll have to come up with your own slicer settings. Don’t worry, though, as the different designs for this yo-yo are fairly simple in structure and, maybe with the exception of the “centro” piece, you won’t need any supports.
Need to entertain yourself or your kids at a 4th of July Party? This top spinner will keep everyone mesmerized, and the stars covering the model add a patriotic touch.
The 3D printable model is meant to be printed with a multicolor (tri-extruder) printer, as the design is split into three pieces – each meant for a different color. The designer noted that they printed the model on a Geeetech A30T. But, if you don’t have a tri-extruder printer like this one, you can try combining the models, printing it on a single-extruder printer, and painting the spinner after.
Sadly, the designer didn’t provide any printing suggestions, so you’ll have to use your intuition to come up with the right settings. Judging by the overhangs on the spinner model, you’ll likely have to use supports.
In this section, we’ll highlight some 4th-of-July-themed accessories that’ll make your holiday even more fun and festive!
No 4th of July is complete without its own American flag. Print your own flag and proudly display your patriotism to all of your guests with this very detailed model.
While it may seem like a multicolor print at first, the model was actually designed to be printed with a single-color extruder. All of the color changes are distinctly laid out in different heights, making it very easy to swap to the desired color mid-print with a filament change command.
This America flower vase gives you the 48 continuous states to hold your flowers in. While not every state can actually hold a flower, you’ll be able to get a few in the larger ones!
The design is a bit complex as the vase has detailed lines that are also forming a curve, so make sure you use some high-quality print settings to get the job done. You should also set the layer height low for detail and make sure to activate supports for the overhang unless your printer is very good with those.
Who doesn’t love patio lights? Designed to go over a simple strand of lights, these stars will surely add some sparkle to your space.
This design isn’t hard to print at all. The designer recommends using translucent filament so the light can illuminate the shape. The models – a star and a rocket – were designed to be used with Ikea Skruv outdoor lights, but you can probably make them work with other lights, too.
American flags are everywhere on the 4th of July, but you can be unique with this cool design. It’s completely print-in-place so the flag can move back and forth through the small chainlinks, no assembly required.
The model is one solid part, so you’ll have to paint it. Luckily, the 50 stars are built into the model. As the designer provided no printing tips, we recommend checking out similar models to get an idea of how you should print this one.
Anyone who is remotely interested in geography will find this print very intriguing. All of the lower 48 states are present and replaced with their abbreviations, making this a very different kind of map of the USA (sorry Alaska and Hawaii; maybe another designer will figure out a way to add you).
While the original design belongs to 3DJak, fatgeek has remixed it with extended lettering for easier filament swaps for a nice color transition. Simply add a color change once the letters begin to print and you’re good to go.
With this stamp, you can proudly declare that all the food on your picnic table is “Made in U.S.A.”
To keep the detail intact, you should print the stamp face up, meaning you’ll have to use supports. And if you want to change the text or give it your own spin, you can also create your own stamp.
This no-tangle flag holder is made for any holiday that’s celebrated with hanging a flag. As we all know, flags can easily become wrapped around the pole and not be displayed nicely. With this print, you’re finally guaranteed to have a straight and neat flag.
Though the design is for a 19-mm diameter pole, you can get it to fit any pole as long as you scale it up or down accordingly. This holder isn’t complicated to print and assemble but it does consist of a couple of different parts.
In this section, we’ll show you some awesome 4th-of-July-themed cookie cutters. Impress your party guests with stylish treats!
You can’t get more American than cookies spelling “USA”. All types of cookies will work well here, and you can even consider adding some food coloring to the dough for red, white, and blue treats.
This straightforward design doesn’t need supports, but printing it a bit slower than usual is advisable due to the detailing on the letters.
Make that dessert platter more patriotic with flag-shaped cookies! Given the flat base and absence of overhangs, the model should be an easy print.
Check out similar designs or any of the others in this category for print recommendations.
We all know the iconic image of Uncle Sam, and now, you can bring him to your 4th of July festivities with this cookie cutter: Enjoy cookies in the form of his trademark top hat.
The designer recommends printing this model at around a 0.3-mm layer height.
This cookie cutter design will make your cookies served at a 4th of July gathering fit right in. As it will be touching food and going in the oven, remember to use a strong food-safe filament.
This should be a quick and easy print. No supports are needed, and the designer recommends using 100% infill with 0 shells for rigidity and strength.
In this section, we’ve found some symbols of America that represent freedom and history. These 3D printable models double as great decorations for 4th of July celebrations.
This Uncle Sam figure is dressed in his finest patriotic attire and is ready to celebrate with you. While the model may seem tricky to print, with quite the paint job required for the full effect, it is well worth the effort.
The articulate model is designed after the vintage Kenner-style action figures and comes with its own firework prop. Print yours now so that you can get started with the finishing touches as soon as possible!
The Liberty Bell is one of the oldest symbols of America and its independence. This 3D printable version of the Liberty Bell looks just like the real one in Pennsylvania and includes the notorious large crack running down the middle of the bell. The design also features the same inscriptions as the original.
The bell is split into two pieces (inside the same file), including the main bell structure and the top frame. As for printing, the creator of this model listed that they used no supports nor a raft to print the parts. One maker posted that they printed the bell with a 20% infill density and a 0.2-mm layer height.
The Statue of Liberty is one of the most well-known representations of freedom and inclusion in America and was actually a gift from France. This model, with a considerable level of detail, is the perfect symbol for the 4th of July.
Make sure you use high-quality and high-resolution print settings to make this print look its best. The designer recommends printing the model in multiple pre-split parts instead of all at once, allowing the detail to come out better. You can use glue to put the pieces together.
We can’t forget the United States’ national animal and one of the most iconic symbols of freedom: the American bald eagle. With its head held high and wings spread wide, this statue’s design resembles the eagle pictured in the Great Seal of the United States.
According to the designer, this statue is support-free, which is impressive considering the overhangs on the wings. Although no supports may work for some people, if your printer struggles with overhangs, you may want to activate them just in case. The maker also listed that they printed the eagle with a 20% infill density.
This is an impressive recreation of the House of the legislative and judicial powers of Colorado. The monument stands as a historical reminder to the Colorado people and the print leaves nothing to be desired with its detail.
Suppose you don’t happen to live in Colorado. In that case, you may be able to find another state capitol building of choice, such as the Wisconsin State Capitol or the Michigan Capitol Building.
