Everyone gets in on the fun on the first of April, from revenge-seeking sisters to globally-operating conglomerates. If you’re still trying to find a way to participate, here’s your chance!

Everybody loves chocolate, so this April Fool’s, why not prank your friends by replacing their favorite treat with some delicious chocolatey PLA? Just remember to return the real chocolate when you’re done or they may cease their friendship with you.
Got an old chocolate bar wrapper handy? The creator recommends going the extra mile by covering the model up!

Who printed it? While there are no Makes associated with this model, the creator himself has printed it, and it seems simple enough to print on any printer.

Ever wanted to keep people out of your pantry? Well, this 3D printable housefly is just for you. Print in black PLA and place it on whatever you want people to avoid.

Who printed it? 61 people have downloaded this model from Cults, and it’s received an overall 5-star rating on the website.

For a particularly nasty April Fool’s prank, stick these around and watch people try to plug their devices in without success. Who knew so much joy could be had with a bit of PLA and double-sided tape?
The creator warns against placing these anywhere you could get in trouble, either with the big burly coffee shop visitor with a low phone battery or with the venue owner himself.

Who printed it? With 26 downloads and 37 likes, this design appears to have been printed successfully by multiple people. And that doesn’t really surprise us, given that it looks like an easy model to print.

For those desperate-to-scare people, this is certainly the prank for you. Printed in black filament, this comes complete with a scaleable nest to fit even more wasps if you wish.
The body prints in two halves, which along with the legs, need to be glued together. Set a 0.1-mm layer height, three-layer perimeters, and 30% infill. Supports are also needed.

Who printed it? So far, this model only has four downloads, but this could be because of the website’s relatively low number of users. Nevertheless, the creator has demonstrated quite clearly just how terrifying this insect imposter can be.

This one is for your 3D printing buddy. Just place the G-code on their machine and hit print. They won’t be able to find the problem!

This April Fool’s, it’s time to test the efficacy of the old adage, “Don’t cry over spilled milk.” Just print in a white filament of your choice and place in an overturned milk carton.

For your OCD friends, telling them to put this puzzle together is the perfect prank. They’ll likely assume they’re getting the order of the pieces wrong, but they’re not! The six identical parts are made to fit together imperfectly.

Who printed it? Despite it’s low 31 downloads, this model should print perfectly. Remember to print with a raft to avoid elephant’s foot!

While it may not be the most appropriate idea this year, given the TP shortages, this strap-on attachment is certainly the most fun attachment for a leaf blower. Wake your family up with this, shouting “April Fool’s!” and you won’t be forgiven until next April first. (Mission accomplished.)
