This is a simple and minimalist leather wallet that doesn’t require any stitching and has no closures. For this project, the maker used a cute motif of a fox with vine leaves, adding to the wallet’s appeal. You can, however, choose to customize it any way you want to.

The wallet design is available in the Cricut Design Space under the name “Fold Up Leather Case”. The cutting template has both the foldable wallet as well as the strip needed for the tie. This leather vase wrap would make a great addition to your home’s décor. It’s essentially a rectangular band with holes for lacing – think corset for a vase! For more embellishment, decorative text, or a pattern, iron-on foil adorns the face of the band.

The band can be easily designed in Cricut Design Space with custom measurements, then cut with the Cricut Machine. You can get creative with the decorative text or pattern for the band’s surface. Once you have what you want, the design will be cut separately with iron-on foil, then applied to the leather band with the Cricut EasyPress. Once the pieces are cut, sew them together and ensure that all the stitching is secure. This project might take some time and sewing skills to prepare, but the result is well worth the effort.

This project is a great example of how sometimes amazing things happen when you’re just experimenting. The maker wanted to test out how Cricut’s fine tip pen drawings would fare on leather cuffs.

The project is simple, but you can make it as complex as you’d like. The maker used a simple fine tip pen to draw on the leather and then cut out the shape. While technically you’re done at this point, the cuffs simply lack finesse. So, a few coats of paint and a topcoat finish later, the cuffs really begin to shine and take on their final weathered appearance.
