Spider Web Lantern

Skull Illusion
This skull ornament is a captivating addition to your Halloween decor, employing optical illusion to create a spooky effect. It achieves an eerie ambiance through the clever use of parallel bars that, when illuminated from a certain angle, cast a shadow resembling the outline of a skull.
A 0.2-mm layer height is sufficient to produce the desired effect, allowing for a balance between print quality and efficiency. However, for those seeking an even smoother finish, a 0.1-mm layer height will also work. Some makers have reported successful prints after scaling 200%.

Suspended Spider
If the traditional spider models aren’t quite enough for you, this next model may be what you are looking for.
This black widow is seemingly suspended in mid-air using a very impressive 3D printing trick that takes advantage of thin strings of material to support the model. You will need to fine-tune your cooling and print settings to pull off this print, though the results are well worth it.
Designer STomHacks has created multiple print profiles for this model, including a single-color one, a profile with a separate color for the strings, and a third option for a dual-color spider body. These multicolor profiles are made for the Bambu Lab AMS unit, though a little tuning should make them compatible with other setups.
