DUMMpool V1.3

Dummy 13 is an articulated figure created by Lucky 13, a company committed to creating free and accessible toys for anyone with a 3D printer (we’ve also got our top picks of the original design).

In this version, Dummy, in addition to a cool costume and vibrant colors, also gains everything he needs to become Deadpool: belt, buckle, double katanas, emotional masks, holster, props, and even armed hands with the Desert Eagles guns, as seen in the three Deadpool films.

If you’ve already printed a Dummy, you can use some parts as long as they’re the right colors. If you’re about to print any, don’t worry because all the parts are already set up with the best orientation for the print bed.

In addition to printing the accessories, be sure to check out the Emotional Deadpool masks. These maintain the classic Dummy look without losing the Deadpool style, with five super fun expressions that can be changed whenever you want. Each models has specific printing settings and assembly guides that make it even easier to replicate them.

Deadpool Wolverine Broken Heart

So, friends forever? At least until they're 90
So, friends forever? At least until they're 90 (Source: nerdyviews via Printables)

Inspired by Deadpool & Wolverine ads, this keychain exudes creativity and humor, capturing the essence of Deadpool’s foul-mouthed personality and Wolverine’s animal instincts. These two could never have imagined that a friendship between them would work out, until Deadpool finds himself forced to captivate the beast because he needs his help to save his friends.

Not every friendship starts as “like at first sight”, and for them it’s no different. Even those who watched the moments of their first meeting were unsure whether they would fight, hug, or both, but of course we already know how it all ends.

Since it was shared, there has been an update that has included holes that allow for the addition of 3x 1-mm neodymium magnets on the sides to join the two halves together, with 5 holes on each half.

For an optimal printing experience, users suggest a layer height of 0.2 mm and 15% infill, which balances fine detail and strength. Several users have praised the ease of printing the model.

Collapsing Katana

Ready to deflect (rubber) bullets?
Ready to deflect (rubber) bullets? (Source: justinpig via MakerWorld)

From time to time, our “hero” forgets (or misplaces or runs out of) his ammunition. It’s when the bullets run out that the Jack the Ripper-style fun begins! Deadpool’s double katanas are his trademark weapon, and with them, he’s capable of easily dismembering enemies without mercy – not to mention that they make the character even more threatening.

All parts of the handle can be printed separately and assembled later. It’s also possible to print in a single piece or in a multicolored model to obtain a different look. And because it’s a collapsing sword, storing it won’t be an issue.

Pay attention to the various tips that the designer left on the model page, such as using PETG to make the blade parts more resistant, and the step-by-step assembly pictures that are beyond helpful. Depending on which option you go for, printing the katana can take anywhere between 56 minutes to over 7 hours.

  • Who designed it? justinpig
  • How printable/popular is it? More than 1,900 downloads and around 700 prints, as reported by MakerWorld, make it clear that many Deadpools are deflecting bullets in the multiverse.

Multicolor Bust

What good are my two swords if they've ripped my arms off?!
What good are my two swords if they've ripped my arms off?! (Source: iczfirz via Printables)

If you’re looking for something more detailed for your shelf or desk, this Deadpool bust might be just the challenge you need.

Because it’s an intricate design, with high-resolution details that highlight all of the accessories, it’s a time-consuming piece to print. Despite this, the result is a rewarding bust sculpture that has received a lot of praise from users across a variety of repositories. And you don’t need to enable supports!

Using a 0.2-mm layer height, 2 perimeters, and 5 different colors, with an MMU2S setup, it took the creator almost 4 days of printing and consume around 620 g of filament. Most makers who have commented their own printing settings refer to similar values.

Many users have shared that this model can be a real stress test for their multicolor system, as in this previous case for example the tool was changed 1,965 times. This remix made by iczfirz is, without a doubt, worthy of the Marvel heroes’ shelf.

If it’s too much for your setup, you can always look at the original version by Eastman3D, which is popular on its own right and can be printed in one color and then painted for the extra challenge.

Celestial

Waiting for a greater purpose in the fox's hole

One of Deadpool’s characteristics is that he’s occasionally… well, obscene. And he doesn’t hide his feelings for others – hence the flipping people off.

This model highlights that. There are three options with different facial expressions and hand positions, including a katana option, but guess which one got all the most stylish photos? That’s right!

This piece evokes how Deadpool feels in the latest film, when he believes he’s called to save the multiverse, including the MCU as a whole, and he refers to himself as “Marvel Jesus”.

Of course, we all know that he exaggerated a little. After all, his short temper, indecent vocabulary, and questionable character are deep parts of his personality.

In any case, the model’s a nice mix of humor with meditation practices and a cool illusion. For printing recommendations, the designer suggests a layer height of 0.2 mm, 2 walls, and 10% infill.

Headphones Holder

Yes sir, I will solve your problem while I finish browsing the internet
Yes sir, I will solve your problem while I finish browsing the internet (Source: user_468064044 via MakerWorld)

In the latest movie, after being dumped by Vanessa, Deadpool realizes that he needs to do something more meaningful with his life and superpowers. He seeks out the Avengers but is rejected due to his psychotic and violent history. In search of alternatives, he ends up working as a car salesman. Unexpected, but I guess even anti-heroes need jobs. Deadpool ends up discovering that he can do more than just tear people apart. Who knows, if that gig hadn’t worked out, maybe he could’ve worked in a call center.

From the image above, we can already imagine how he would feel when answering those calls that not many would like to accept, and discovering that he can’t even use his offensive vocabulary. (Although, let’s be real. How long before the first swear words are dropped? 10 seconds? 30?)

The designer was alone in his office when he decided that he needed a mercenary with a loose mouth to keep him company and decorate his desk. A layer height of 0.2 mm, 2 external walls, and 4% infill are recommended.

In the comments, some users reported that the chin may need additional supports for a better finish.

Voodoo Doll

Friends at all times, especially the painful ones
Friends at all times, especially the painful ones (Source: Windos via MakerWorld)

For collectors and fans, this voodoo doll is perfect for making everything even more interesting and fun. After all, Deadpool does suffer with each jab, but he entertains us even more with his chatty and mocking expressions.

The voodoo doll concept serves as a physical representation of Deadpool’s suffering, but, like everything related to the character, it is used in an exaggerated and satirical way, in line with his signature style of dark humor.

To ensure high-quality printing, it’s suggested to use a 0.16-mm layer, 3 walls, and 15% infill, as indicated by several users who recreated the model. Those who want to print the version with swords should be aware of the delicacy of these parts, and it’s recommended to keep the model at 100% scale to avoid fragility issues.

The model is also praised for not requiring supports, as long as the print speed is slightly reduced. Additionally, there’s a color version in 3MF format available, making printing easier for those who have multicolor or multi-material setups.

  • Who designed it? Mici
  • How printable/popular is it? Over 40 makes and more than 480 downloads combined from both sites make it clear that it’s a catchy and printable model. And yes, as you can see above, there’s also a Wolverine design by the same maker.

Wicked Sculpture

To turn a Freddy Krueger into a hero, you need a super tailor
To turn a Freddy Krueger into a hero, you need a super tailor (Source: robotname555 via Cults)

If you’ve come this far looking for a full-body version of Deadpool, this is the one for you!

The model has incredible details of the anti-hero in action with his katana and Desert Eagle, with dozens of bullet casings on the ground. The sculpture is in 1/6 scale in STL format, and has been tested for 3D printing with and without supports. If you need inspiration for the painting part, be sure to check out the seven stunning makes shared on Cults.

It’s worth keeping in mind that a comment reports difficulties with the right hand and katana parts, even with the use of supports. So, you might need to tweak a few settings and get creative if you’re opting for resin 3D printing for the most details. The final height of the statue when printed is 250 mm – it’ll definitely be a conversation piece once you’ve finished it.

Knife Holder

Without spilling a drop of blood
Without spilling a drop of blood (Source: KillaPrintzilla via MakerWorld)

Many people say that Deadpool doesn’t know how to use his head, but we beg to differ. Although there isn’t much in it, it’s very useful for cushioning violent blows, shots and, of course, throwing knives and swords at.

With his foul-mouthed and mocking style, he attracts violence from his enemies, who strike him mercilessly in an attempt to kill him; but this is in vain because of his immortality. While it hasn’t been shown, we’ve no doubt that Blind Al has also attempted something similar at some point.

For this useful kitchen model, the designer recommends a nozzle size between 0.6 and 0.4 mm, 0.4 mm layer height, and infill between 8 and 10%, but also says that you can increase it if you want a stronger and more resistant block.

You’ll want to check the size of your knives to make sure that the holes will be adequate before you slice the model – otherwise, you’ll need to make some adjustments. And you might want to take a peak at food-safe 3D printing before you get started.

  • Who designed it? 3dxav
  • How printable/popular is it? Between the different repositories, there are around 90 makes and more than 1,800 downloads. Quite a few Deadpools in the multiverse are dealing with headaches right now.

HueForge

An irresistibly and provocative look!
An irresistibly and provocative look! (Source: Gian_March via MakerWorld)

Even with a mask, Deadpool is one of Marvel’s most communicative heroes. His hilarious expressions bring a sense of humor that is contagious in any environment, so a 3D printed decoration can be perfect for almost any place where you want to add a special touch. This irresistible charm will make everyone fall in love or get into an argument on who’s better, Deadpool or Wolverine, but either way, it will be original and creative.

Although this is a multicolor print, it was designed in HueForge so that you don’t need that many colors or a multicolor setup. It’s possible to achieve this print on a regular printer using manual filament switching via the “Pause at Layer Height” method. In the printing of the image above, only four different colors were used alternating in six specific layers. The designer recommends using a base layer with a height of 0.16 mm and for the remaining 0.08 mm with 100% infill. Once finished, the model has a size of 150 x 85.67 mm.
