Battle Bus

Before any good fight, you need to go to the battle area. Now, you can go ahead and print this glorious chariot of death – better known as the Battle Bus. And remember: always thank the bus driver. Although it seems like a rather complex print, it’s actually quite simple. It should print easily on most FDM printers with just two parts that will require support, the “hose” and the “top frame”.

Additionally, most seams are designed to be hidden by other parts once assembled. Take a look at the creators’ description for more details or check out the full construction video on YouTube, where the creator provides insider tips on how to bring the print to the next level. For example, they used 1.2-mm stainless steel wire to support the balloon.

Kitsune Drift Mask

Get your own Kitsune mask, you all probably know, from the legendary Fortnite character, Drift. With it, you can complete your cosplay costume, or simply hang it as a trophy on the wall. There are two different STL files available for this mask. One is sized for a teenager’s head, with the mask opening approximately 184 mm x 208 mm (7 inches x 8 inches), but it can easily be resized to fit the measurements of any face.

The other version of the mask comes in parts so it can be printed in sections if your printer is very small. If you take that route, you’ll need some glue to assemble all six pieces. In any case, you’ll need to use supports and a small layer height for best results.

Treasure Chest

Unlock the treasures of the island with the iconic Treasure Chest

Print your own treasure chest to hide your personal belongings or surprise someone with a little gift inside. The chest is printed in twelve different parts and must be assembled later with some glue. If done correctly, the lid should open and close smoothly. It can be printed with the help of an AMS to utilize various filament colors or be painted. The files can easily be resized if you want a larger chest.

Consider using a raft for these hollow parts to ensure good adhesion to the print bed, and it’s recommended to use support for printing the lid. A slower print speed would also help ensure better results and, for a durable case, an infill of at least 25% is suggested. Some users also noted that scaling down certain parts, like the lock, by 2-5% can ensure a better fit depending on your printer’s tolerances.

Impulse Grenade

Send your enemies flying with the explosive power of the Impulse Grenade
Send your enemies flying with the explosive power of the Impulse Grenade (Source: kckirby via Thingiverse)

Experienced Battle Royale players may remember this fun little item from back in the day. When thrown at people or objects, it would hurl them away from the impact without causing any damage. The impulse grenade was recently placed in the Vault and is only available in the Playground nowadays. If you’re feeling nostalgic or just want to have this cool grenade at your disposal, now you can print one yourself and even equip it with LEDs for an extra glow effect.

The shape is split into two halves that are held together by an internal “cylinder” piece, or you can drill 10 mm holes around the edges and secure small magnets in place. There are two different approaches, the “full” version has printed plugs for the holes instead of lights (the designer suggests a blue filament), or an “empty” version for those who want to place LEDs inside and should print the plugs in a white or transparent filament.

Loot Lama

As you probably already know, Loot Lama is ridiculously rare in any Battle Royale game. Now, you can print your own and never be afraid of getting shot again when you try to open one. Unfortunately, smashing the llama with a Shockwave Grenade in real life won’t give 600x of each material (instead of normally 200x). But be sure to exploit this bug in the game if you want.

There are two files. You can print the lama as one or divide it into two parts to make painting easier. In the comments, there are recommendations to use print settings that include a 0.2 mm layer height, 10% infill, a speed of 40 mm/s, and supports when necessary. Consider adding marks to align the separate parts during assembly to facilitate the correct fit. Experiment with fun materials, like glitter filament, for interesting results.

Jump Pad Coaster

The Fortnite Jump Pad, also known as the Launch Pad, is an essential in-game item that offers players a quick and exciting way to get around the map. It acts as a launch pad that propels players into the air and allows them to glide or dive toward a new location. These Jump Pads can be found on the map as loot items or created by players using materials obtained in the game. They are particularly useful for escaping dangerous situations, crossing large distances quickly, or surprising enemies by attacking from above.

The legs are printed separately to reduce support material and can be easily glued onto the pad. Placing some small felt pads on the bottom of the legs helps prevent it from sliding on smooth surfaces.
