Polish industrial 3D printer manufacturer 3DGence will be premiering the Industry F420 at Formnext next week, the company announced in a press release.
The modular machine offers faster printing speeds in a wide range of materials and boasts a high-temperature print chamber plus quick-changing modules you can swap in and out depending on which materials you want to use.
“The high print speed is the key aspect of our industrial 3D printing process,” said product manager Remigiusz Synowiec, adding it “pushes the boundaries of printing speed for industrial 3D printers.”
The F420 boasts a 1 meter per second travel speed and can print at up to 400 mm per second, says the company.
“It makes the machine a perfect choice if you want to cut manufacturing costs and print spare parts to dramatically reduce downtimes. This 3D printer is a perfect tool for quick production of end-use parts that can be used in final products,” said Synowiec.
With the F420’s 380 x 380 x 420 mm print chamber that heats up to 180°C and an air filtration system, it is capable of printing with materials like Ultem and PEEK. It also comes with three different modules which each handle different engineering-grade materials. 3DGence says they will continue expanding what materials the printer can handle.
As well as that, for the first time at 3DGence, the F420 has WiFi connectivity. The company developed a cloud-based solution that keeps users fully in the loop on their machine and their prints’ process. They’ve also done an overhaul of their slicing software.
The printer, which will range in price from €49,000 to €75,000 is set to be shipped out in December and sales will begin at Formnext.
