Anycubic at Rapid + TCT 2024 is dominated by two products, both launched during an anniversary live stream in May.

In keeping with many consumer brands at the show, multicolor/multi-material printing is a key theme for the company, with the Kobra 3 Combo on display as Anycubic’s answer to affordable high-speed prints that pop with color. In fact, color is king for the company, with a partnership with the Pantone Color Institute providing four bold, exclusive hues for special edition filaments available at the launch of the Kobra 3.

The Kobra 3 Combo hardware itself presents a moderate evolution on the company’s existing line of competitively priced “bed-slinger” style printers, eking out more speed and improving the setup with a near-fully assembled machine shipping in the box.

All new is Anycubic’s take on the four-filament autoloader. Dubbed the ACE Pro (ACE being an acronym for Anycubic Color Engine,) this tidy box carries four spools, can be combined with another ACE Pro for up-to-eight-spool-prints, and can also dry the material as a job is running.

Handily, Anycubic has dropped the price of the Kobra 3 Combo permanently by $50 ahead of the show, meaning you can now pick up the complete system, Kobra 3 and ACE Pro together, for $449.

For all the attention multicolor units are getting, don’t sleep on the Photon Mono M7 Pro, Anycubic’s latest release in its popular Photon Mono series of resin 3D printers. Building on several generations that have progressively improved resolution and print speed, the Photon Mono M7 Pro introduces a number of new systems to optimize your resin printing for even faster and more reliable performance, including the light-off compensation algorithm and automatic resin vat temperature controls. The current lead time has new units shipping in July, so Rapid + TCT 2024 is a great opportunity to get an early, close-up look at this comprehensive new printer.
