Following on from the Photon Mono X, Anycubic has released the Photon Mono X2. This slightly lighter-weight model is available for $429 from the Anycubic website.

Notable features are the larger 9.1-inch monochrome screen, the Mono X had an 8.9-inch screen, Anycubic claims this is a 3.8% increase.

The resolution has also increased from 3840 x 2400 pixels to 4096 x 2560 pixels, an approximate increase of 4% in pixel density. The print volume is 196 x 122 x 200 mm, which is a ~15% decrease in overall volume from the Mono X. The Photon Mono X2, at just 7 kg, is lighter than the previous model.
