Anycubic has opened preorders for its newest resin 3D printer: the Photon Mono M7 Max. Oddly, just on Amazon, while preorders on Anycubic’s online store will follow later this week.
An X post by Anycubic that at first looks like a simple teaser includes a link to an Amazon product listing where the Mono M7 Max is already up for preorder at $799. The price is marked down from $1,099 with a checkout discount, which is at odds with the $899 MSRP Anycubic has shared on the system’s product page. Deliveries are estimated to begin in late November.
Once released, the Mono M7 Max will arrive with a build volume of 298 x 164 x 300 mm (14.7 litres) and a 13.6-inch, 7K LCD screen. It can hit claimed maximum print speeds of 60 mm/h, which Anycubic says is a 200% increase compared to the M3 Max, and boasts an XY resolution of 46 micron.
To do so, the machine will leverage an “upgraded” LighTurbo 3.0, leveraging a COB light source, Fresnel lens, and front-facing reflectors to achieve a claimed light uniformity of up to 90%.
Users can open the hinged cover with one hand, Anycubic says, then leave it there at angles greater than 45 degrees, which we assume means you won’t need to flip it all the way to prevent it from falling closed on its own.
A 1.3-litre resin vat features dynamic temperature control between 25-40 °C and an auto-refill functionality. Once a print is finished, parts can be suspended and tilted to drain excess resin.
Features like the 4.3-inch touchscreen put the finishing touches on the machine, which will also be available for preorder on Anycubic’s website on November 8th.
