Here’s a look at what you can expect from an Anycubic Photon Mono SE.

Monochrome High-Speed LCD 3D Printer

The Photon Mono SE is equipped with a monochrome LCD screen. This new screen is harder-wearing and longer-lasting than conventional screens, with a lifetime of 2,000 hours. It’s intended to be more transparent than the standard LCD screens used with other resin printers, which, combined with a more powerful LED light source, speeds up the time needed for layers to cure.

In the Photon Mono SE’s case, the monochrome LCD screen dramatically speeds the printing process up to a maximum of 80 mm per hour.

Fast – But Not At The Expense Of Print Quality

In the Photon Mono SE, the Z-axis comes with a dual rail system that prevents wobbles, improves its precision, and can prevent shifting in the middle of the printing process.

This also results in impressive print quality and smooth surfaces with the intricate details you might expect from a much more expensive printer.

The Photon Mono SE comes with a matrix parallel light source to uniformly distribute light energy and enhance the precision of the print. This machine is capable of printing in layers that are thinner than 50 microns. The results are detailed enough that some dental offices could use it, or even jewelers for modeling.

Some Key Features Include:

  • The printer is fitted with a UV cooling system to maintain optimum system performance and protect it from overheating.
  • The printer offers quick and easy FEP replacement, saving resin and printing time.
  • A high-quality power supply: UL certification, CE marking, and ETL certification.
  • The brushed aluminum platform significantly enhances adhesion between the platform and prints.
  • Metal and anodized aluminum gives the Photon Mono SE a sturdy construction and the classic look of the previous generation.
  • The printer features a carbon air filter with two fans inside to largely eliminate the odor of resin. It can also prevent dust and other foreign particles getting stuck in the print layers.
