Here’s a look at what you can expect from an Anycubic Photon Mono SE.
The Photon Mono SE is equipped with a monochrome LCD screen. This new screen is harder-wearing and longer-lasting than conventional screens, with a lifetime of 2,000 hours. It’s intended to be more transparent than the standard LCD screens used with other resin printers, which, combined with a more powerful LED light source, speeds up the time needed for layers to cure.
In the Photon Mono SE’s case, the monochrome LCD screen dramatically speeds the printing process up to a maximum of 80 mm per hour.
In the Photon Mono SE, the Z-axis comes with a dual rail system that prevents wobbles, improves its precision, and can prevent shifting in the middle of the printing process.
This also results in impressive print quality and smooth surfaces with the intricate details you might expect from a much more expensive printer.
The Photon Mono SE comes with a matrix parallel light source to uniformly distribute light energy and enhance the precision of the print. This machine is capable of printing in layers that are thinner than 50 microns. The results are detailed enough that some dental offices could use it, or even jewelers for modeling.
The Photon Mono SE is available for $349 via Anycubic’s official online store.
