Anycubic has announced the latest machine in its Photon line, the Photon Mono X, which has a large build volume and faster printing speed for 3D printing enthusiasts. The 4K monochrome screen and high-performance Z-axis motion system create high-precision prints quickly.
Featuring a monochrome LCD display, the Photon Mono X has incredible printing speeds. It only takes 1.5 to two seconds per layer compared to conventional LCD 3D printers, which take seven to eight seconds per layer. The max print speed is 60 mm per hour, three times faster than the original Photon.
Other benefits of the monochrome LCD are that it’s stable and has a much longer life expectancy than conventional LCD displays – the Photon Mono X promises a life expectancy of up to 2,000 hours in normal use.
The build volume makes this printer stand out from the rest of the pack. The build area of the original Photon is 115 x 65 x 155 mm, but the Photon Mono X offers a generous 192 x 120 x 245 mm and comes with an 8.9-inch screen, allowing you to create bigger models or print multiple models at once.
The Photon Mono X offers outstandingly high-precision printing thanks to a neatly attached lead screw and dual-linear rails, all designed to ensure that the Z-axis moves smoothly and accurately. The 4K LCD screen offers enough detail to consistently produce fine detailed and intricate prints.
It also comes with matrix parallel UV lighting to uniformly distribute light energy, which enhances the precision of the print. Powered by these features, the Photon Mono X produces large prints with precise details.
Anycubic Photon Mono X comes with a WiFi module so you can enjoy the process by monitoring prints and adjusting the print settings on the Anycubic app for more convenience.
The Photon Mono X comes equipped with a 3.5 -inch touchscreen interface, which makes it far easier to adjust settings and set up prints.
There’s a built-in cooling system that prevents the ultraviolet LED lights from overheating the printer. This increases the lifespan of the module and can allow for longer work hours on a single project.
The Photon Mono X has a simple and straightforward UI. The menu is laid out logically and is labeled clearly, so you’d be hard-pressed to get lost or confused.
The pre-order price of Photon Mono X is only $589 and is exclusively available on Anycubic’s official website.
