Anycubic has revealed to All3DP that its M3 series of LCD 3D printers is set to receive a new addition late next month, October 2022, dubbed the Photon M3 Premium.

Details like unique features are currently sparse, but Anycubic has shared the system specs, which indicate a 10.1-inch 8K monochrome screen (7,680 x 4320 pixels) and an XY accuracy of 29 microns. The high resolution is complemented by a print volume of 219 x 123 x 250 mm, making the M3 Premium a touch larger than the company’s mid-sized Photon M3 Plus.

As for the cost, we’ve been given an MSRP range of $599 to $649, which would put it in the same ballpark as Elegoo’s similar-sized and capable Saturn 2.

This follows the recent reveal of Anycubic’s second DLP 3D printer and fellow member of the Anycubic Photon series, the Photon D2 – priced at $679 – which we’ve found to compete well with other 8K LCD systems.
