Biqu’s new Panda Shelter is a 3D printer enclosure made of foil-lined, flame- and water-resistant fabric, measuring 84 x 58 x 58 cm – large enough for both a Bambu Lab A1 and AMS Lite. Front- and side-located transparent plastic windows offer views of the enclosure’s interior.
A digital thermometer and humidity gauge combo are built into the exterior, as are storage pockets for tools. Inside, you’ll find a mesh pocket for desiccants or activated charcoal.
All told, the enclosure aims to keep dust or other external influences out of your printing environment, while containing odors, emissions, and particles. Should you want to ramp up the ventilation fun, Biqu is separately offering a ventilation kit that features a fan, tubing, and activated carbon filter.
The Panda Shelter bolsters the roster of Biqu’s ever-growing “Panda Series” of Bambu Lab peripherals and accessories: everything from touchscreens, to hot ends, or LED strips. The lineup features products from Biqu and BigTreeTech, both of which are brands under Shenzhen Biqu Technology Co., Ltd’s umbrella.
It’s not clear when the Panda Shelter will ship (right now it’s listed as unavailable), but it will cost $79.90 for the enclosure, or $94.99 for both the enclosure and ventilation kit.
