It’s a bumper year for Black Friday savings in the 3D printing-verse, so to help focus minds we’ve taken a casual stroll through our hand-picked cavalcade of coupons, discounts, and deals on our extensive Black Friday deals page to bring you this relaxed, longer-form take on the best deals so far this year.

Creality Ender 3 V2 – $209 – at Creality

The Ender 3 V2 is one of the most popular hobbyist 3D printers (Source: All3DP)

If you can bring yourself to put your pennies directly into Creality’s pockets instead of Mr Blue Origin himself, then Creality’s own deep discount of the Ender 3 V2 – typically priced at $262 for the vast majority of 2021 – is difficult to beat. Especially when you factor in free local shipping.

The V2 is a top all-rounder, a printer we’ve recommended as the best budget machine under $300 and for beginners for close to the entirety of the printer’s two years on the market.

There’s a huge community following, meaning every possible modification, tip, trick, and common issue has been documented to the moon and back. That means the Ender 3 V2, through virtue of its popularity, presents an easy time to the newcomer with lots of questions.

Why should you trust us?

Unlike a lot of other publications that blindly post whatever can be found reduced on Amazon that particular day, we track price histories of the items we feature in our deals content. This information not only keeps us privy to artificially inflated and deflated prices, which we’ll ignore, but also the real price drops. If something is the lowest it’s been in a while, we’ll flag it.

Sounds like a lot of tedious work? It is – we spend a lot of time and effort tracking a variety of stores and sources to help find helpful price drops for you on printers, materials, and accessories we like and can recommend. We’re not perfect, though (not yet), so if anything slips through the net that isn’t up to scratch, we want to know about it. Let us know here – deals@all3dp.com. Take no malicious intent on our part from such mistakes — we’re just humans doing a job, hoping to save people as enthusiastic about 3D printing as we are, some dollars.

Are these all affiliate links?

Most will be, yes. It’s one way a publication like ours can keep the lights on without being overly reliant on intrusive advertisements or paywalls. But, we exert independent choice over what we feature — the intent is to save money on products we like and can recommend – benefitting the reader is a core consideration of all we do; this happens to be one way we can help you and monetize our work along the way.

Original Prusa i3 MK3S+ with goodies – $999 – Prusa Research

Original Prusa i3 MK3S+
One of the best in town – the Original Prusa MK3S+

Like blood from a stone, a price drop or deal offering from famous Czech manufacturer Prusa Research is a pretty rare deal. Today’s Black Friday offering from the company sees its top-tier desktop 3D printer, the Original Prusa i3 MK3S+ bundled with an extra spool of Prusament PETG and a bonus Satin Powder bed sheet at no additional cost. And with free shipping, no matter where you are, to boot.

That’s quite a starter package on what we consider to be the best desktop 3D printer available today. It’s a small orange workhorse that’s brimming with smarts to make home 3D printing higher quality and as effortless as possible.

Voxelab Aquila – $159 – at Amazon.com

Another printer we recommend for beginners, especially those on a tight budget, the Voxelab Aquila performed well in our review, putting out high-quality prints from its user-friendly and, generally, quite amiable package.

It’s made by Flashforge, a 3D printing manufacturer with plenty of pedigree. Despite being relatively similar to the Ender 3 V2 above, you could think of the Aquila as being a lite version of that printer — the out-of-the-box software experience won’t be as sophisticated as the V2, but for beginners, it’s perfectly serviceable and results in good prints. (Power users can disregard the software with both printers — know that you have options.)

10% Off All 3D Printing at Craftcloud – Use code “CRAFTCLOUD10” – at Craftcloud

We’re rather proud of Craftcloud, our 3D printing marketplace. There are few places you can upload a 3D model, and instantly compare prices for materials and finishes from AM specialists worldwide. Another step on our way to total 3D printing domination.

You can take 10% off all orders using the code “CRAFTCLOUD10”. Psst – there’s no order or usage limit, but you definitely didn’t hear it from us.

Anycubic Photon Mono X – $479 – at Anycubic

Another printer we rate rather highly, the Anycubic Photon Mono X offers a large build volume – 192 x 120 x 245 mm – and can print quickly thanks to its monochrome LCD. This means that it is, of course, a resin 3D printer, so you should be absolutely sure you know what you’re in for should you pick one up.

With that said, $479 for a printer that’s spent most of the year trickling its way down from close to $800 is a steal. This price brings it in line with popular alternatives like the Elegoo Saturn (which has a smaller build volume – can be found for $475 today.)

Various % Off MatterHackers MH Build & Pro Materials – Use code “SEASON” – at MatterHackers

A lot of care and attention goes into the materials MatterHackers produces under its own MH Build and MH Pro labels. As general-purpose materials, Build offers versatility and affordability, while Pro caters to discerning uses at consumer-friendly pricing. All the better that the company is offering varying percentages off its filament and resin ranges – just bash in the code “SEASON” at checkout to see the numbers shrink.
