Elegoo has sneakily updated their standard Saturn model to 8K, a significant upgrade from the 4K model they were peddling just a few weeks ago. The Elegoo Saturn 8K has borrowed the Saturn 2 8K’s 10-inch monochrome screen with 7680 x 4320 pixels. At 219 x 123 x 210 mm, the build volume is similar to Saturn 2 with a reduction in the Z-axis of 40 mm. The XY shares the same resolution at 28.5 microns.

With the 8K resolution, Elegoo says the new printer will be “capable of large-size printing or batch printing while maintaining the printing accuracy.”
The printer retails for $500; however, the price is currently discounted to $425 at the Elegoo store.

We previously reviewed the Elegoo Saturn 2, saying it was the best mid-sized resin printer on the market, so it will be exciting to test this new model.
The older Elegoo Saturn 4K is available in some regions on the Elegoo website for ~$319.
