ChiTuBox Basic is now compatible with five more printers, though you may be waiting a while before you can take advantage of this fact.
In a brief blog post, it was announced that the slicer is now compatible with a bevy of printers that have yet to be released, or in some cases even announced, including the Elegoo Saturn 8K, Anycubic Photon D2, Nova3D Whale 3 Pro, and UniFormation GKtwo. The slicer is also now compatible with Creality Halot-Ray, the only printer mentioned that’s currently available on the market.
Additionally, undisclosed optimizations have been made to the settings for Elegoo Saturn 2, while material profiles for a handful of Phrozen’s 3D printers have also been added. The blog lists Phrozen’s Sonic Mega 8K, Sonic Mighty 4K, Sonic Mighty 8K, Sonic Mini 4K, and Sonic Mini 8K 3D printers.
Now that several bugs have been fixed, the company promises greater speed and precision of prints.
