Creality is teasing the SpacePi X4 filament dryer on its website and socials – but it appears Aliexpress and several other online retailers have fully leaked it.

Targeting a full reveal on April 9 in Detroit during Rapid+TCT next week, the SpacePi X4 looks as though it will have room for at least four rolls of filament (as if the name isn’t a dead giveaway), which would make it a plus-sized successor to the two-roll Space Pi Plus. There are also two digital readouts displaying different temperatures, times, and other details.

And, if early listings from the likes of Aliexpress, 3DJake, and Creality VIP Mall are to be trusted, you can consider the four-spool SpacePi X4 all but confirmed, with two spools in two independent heating chambers capable of reaching temperatures up to 80 ℃.

It will also boast active dehumidification, a desiccant regeneration functionality, a 3.2-inch touchscreen, and “intelligent functions” like an “Active Silent” mode.

Aliexpress has the device listed at more than $650, which seems high, but Creality VIP Mall has it going for around $230. Considering the Space Pi Plus’ current $79.99 price tag, we’d expect the Space Pi X4 to lean more in the latter’s direction.

Of course, all of this is still technically speculation until the dryer’s full reveal. There could well be changes or revisions to what we’ve seen so far. That said, we can’t imagine the final product being too far off from this. All that’s left is to wait for its formal announcement.
