Creality is opening preorders tomorrow for a combo unit of its K2 Plus 3D printer and “Creality Filament System” (CFS), which was announced earlier this year.
The K2 Plus serves as the latest entry to Creality’s K-series of machines, and boasts a 350 x 350 x 350 mm build volume, claimed speeds of 600 mm/s, acceleration of 30,000 mm/s², and features like linear rails, active chamber heating, and the OEM’s new Apus dual-gear direct drive extruder.
The CFS, meanwhile, holds up to four spools of filament, although up to four units can be connected to one printer, enabling prints in as many as 16 materials. It features a fully sealed design, as well as display screens for temperature and humidity information.
The K2 Plus-CFS combo’s presale will roll out in four phases, leading up to an official launch on July 20, when it will be available at its standard MSRP of $1,499.
The first phase of preorders starts tomorrow, June 5 on the Creality Store, offering 50% off the first 200 units sold, 40% off for the next 500 units from June 6 to June 13, 30% off for the next 800 units until June 30, and 20% for 1,000 units until July 20.
