Large-scale FDM 3D printers tend to be expensive, especially those that are able to print high quality models using professional-grade materials. The costly price tag attached to these massive industrial machines have prevented many small businesses and manufacturers from utilizing 3D printing technology to prototype or even produce end-use parts.
The new CreatBot F1000 aims to make large-scale 3D printing more accessible. How? By combining a massive print volume and an impressive array of professional features with a secret ingredient: affordability.
For the price of $29,999, the CreatBot F1000 includes a massive, one-cubic-meter build area (1000 x 1000 x 1000mm) equipped with:
Accuracy and reliability make the CreatBot F1000 a terrific option for both industrial and professional users that need to print large prototypes or end-use parts in a single go.
One cubic meter of build volume in 3D printing is quite big. That kind of space can let you 3D print small production series or huge prototypes – even mass production of standard quality products! You can see one of our happy customers with an F1000 3D printer below:
Aside from the enormous build volume, there are several other important features that make this new large-scale 3D printer a big deal (pun intended). CreatBot F100 is embedded with a new auto-rising dual extruders, an enclosed heated chamber, automatic leveling system and built-in camera control. This camera control technology allows customers to control the printing process within an easy-to-use app.
This massive workhorse 3D printer is also equipped with a fast-heating platform and heated chamber that enables incredible results with professional-grade materials. Needless to say, CreatBot F1000 sets a new standard in additive manufacturing and expands the material capabilities of large-scale FDM 3D printers, and in turn greatly reduces cost and manufacturing time for our customers.
CreatBot F1000 was engineered to make 3D printing large-scale objects and prototypes as easy as possible. It is an industrial 3D printer that was developed in response to the growing market demand coming from many different sectors.
The F1000 was recently used to produce a large snake head for a theme park (pictured below). The resulting print was a high-resolution, one-meter-tall piece that weighed 35kg. Can you imagine this enormous 3D printer working 24/7 to create a flawless 35kg model? Using a 1.5mm print nozzle, it took over 200 hours to print.
There are plenty of other real use-cases that showcase how the CreatBot F1000 has been utilized in the professional setting. For instance, one global advanced automotive system engineering and equipment supplier used the CreatBot F1000 to design and develop automotive seat molds that are widely used by Audi, Volkswagen, Nissan and GM.
In the video below, you can see these 3D printed molds. The bowl and lid were required withstand 100MPa, so we used Nylon-carbon fiber materials with 50% infill for the production. The final model accuracy was +0.1mm and passed the stringent testing that is often required in the automotive industry.
The lid of the seat mold took 120 hours to 3D print and weighed 9kg. The size of the part was 820 x 748 x 160mm.
The bowl of the seat mold took 200 hours to 3D print and weighed 16kg. The size of this part was 820 x 748 x 200mm.
After some initial tests with our clients, the performance of the CreatBot F1000 has proven to be on-par or even better than some well known industrial 3D printer brands from Germany or the USA. The biggest difference, however, is that the price is less than a third of those competitors! In some customer’s eyes, they regret buying expensive large-scale 3D printers instead of the ultra-affordable and equally capable CreatBot F1000!
Without a doubt, the CreatBot F1000 is your best choice for an industrial large-scale 3D printer that can handle engineering-grade materials.
