Elegoo is set to reveal the Jupiter 2 resin 3D printer at Rapid+TCT next month.

Details are scarce, coming by way of a very brief, very vague press release. According to Elegoo, the printer “expand[s] the potential of resin printing” and boasts “cutting-edge, user-friendly technology”.

That’s hardly something to write home about, although if forced to speculate, we’d imagine it will double-down on the speed and size focus on the original Jupiter and Jupiter SE: 6K machines with a 277 x 156 x 300 mm build volume and a $1,300 price tag on release – now $875. It’s Elegoo’s largest resin 3D pritners.

While our initial impressions found the Jupiter to be “well-rounded” and capable of fast print speeds, we did have some criticisms in terms of its size not being large enough for those who “want to print really big and not just ‘halfway'”.

Whatever’s coming, we won’t have too long to wait. Rapid+TCT runs April 8-10 at Huntington Place in Detroit, Michigan. Should you be in attendance, you can stop by Booth 1901 to see the Jupiter 2 – as well as additional “new innovations” from Elegoo – in person.
