The highly anticipated Summer Necessities Creativity Challenge, held by Elegoo and All3DP, has officially ended. The many entries left us astounded by the sheer creativity and innovation displayed by participants. As we take a moment to reflect on the contest, it’s clear that the 3D printing community has outdone itself with a spectacular array of high-quality designs.
The contest theme, “Things You Should Print for a Good Summer,” inspired an incredible variety of entries. From practical gadgets that make summer living easier and more enjoyable to decorative pieces that capture the season’s essence, the range of topics covered was truly impressive. Each participant brought a unique touch to the competition, leveraging their skills to explore and push the boundaries of what 3D printing can achieve.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the designers who participated in this contest. Your contributions have not only enriched this competition but have also demonstrated the remarkable talent and passion within the 3D printing community. Each entry was a testament to the creativity and technical skill of its creator. Choosing the winners was a challenging task for our jury, as many of the entries were high quality.
The contest may be over, but the impact of your innovative designs will continue to inspire the world of 3D printing. We are incredibly thankful for your efforts and enthusiasm, which made this event a resounding success.

Ilai Levavi and Justin Headley are the winners of the First Prize, each consisting of an Elegoo Jupiter SE, the Mercury XS Bundle, an Air Purifier, 6 kg of Resin, and a Chitu Box license.
They developed a 3D printed hand surfboard and a Gearfinity Fan Module, respectively. Please make sure to download their designs; they’re just awesome.
Next are the winners of the Second Prize, consisting of Saturn 4 Ultra printers, the Mercury XS Bundle, 1 kg of Resin, and a Chitu Box license.
AskNinjaTom designed a wind spinner for your garden, Javier Serra Alonso came up with a Zen Beach for you to rest and reflect, Gokul kb has a fan design that keeps your camera or other small tools cool, and Andrew Beerbohm developed a catapult mechanism for a can.
Here come the winners of the Third Prize. They will be sent a Neptune 4 Max 3D printer, 10 kg of PLA, and a Chitu Box license.
Lorenzo Iaccarini added a yummy-looking ice cream box to the competition, Franklin Adams came up with a summer-themed ice cream truck diorama, Zoltán Riskó sent us beach-themed miniatures, Stuart Attenborrow added a pool jet to an inflatable pool, Thomas Lété gave a 3D printed home to insects, and Benjamin Cann designed a tentacle-themed cup holder for the beach.
That’s not all! Here are the winners of a Nominated Award consisting of 1 kg of PLA. Awarded for their participation were Paul Boyd, Pierre Noel, Ivana Bistrovic, Nicholas Sadler, Sterling Pittman, Taran Hawk Burke, Thomas Schönenberg, IL3D. Quy Tran, DIY Wizard, Gabriel Neacsu, Anthony Larrieu, Jocelyn Groizard, Jimmy Cordero Murillo, Eric, LJ Gabel, Colrat Virgile, Jeanne OBryan, Cory Schommer and Marlene Bonchoux.
Emma Waika is the winner of the Special Prize, which consists of a flight and admission to the Formnext 2024 Trade Show in Frankfurt, Germany.
