The “Summer Necessities Creativity Challenge” hosted by Elegoo and All3DP offers a platform for your creative expression. It invites all 3D designers to translate their summer experiences into remarkable 3D printable designs. From practical gadgets that simplify the summer hustle to decorative items that capture the season’s essence, from Daiquiri coasters to mechanical fans, your creation should echo the joys and memories of summer.

Entering the contest is easy: Just upload a link to your design through the dedicated Contest Page. You can use the link to a 3D printing file repository (like Thingiverse, Cults, or Printables) or a personal storage service (like Google Drive, WeTransfer, or Dropbox). Your design doesn’t have to be made for this contest, so you can use one of your existing designs, too.

Valuable Prizes Await

The rewards are tempting, with Elegoo offering lavish packages to 33 lucky winners. Prizes include top-tier 3D printers alongside essential accessories and software to elevate your 3D printing game. Whether it’s the Jupiter SE package, the Saturn 4 Ultra bundle, the Neptune 4 Max prize, or the lucky draw, your participation could be richly rewarded.

The special prize will be drawn by ELEGOO from those who participate in our social media activities with the hashtag #ELEGOO3DSummer! The winner will be able to go to the FORMNEXT exhibition in Germany in November to meet ELEGOO offline, and get round-trip air tickets and hotels booked by ELEGOO.

Meet the Jury

To make sure your design gets the attention it deserves, the jury of the contest sports some real experts in the field.

  • Chris Hong is the founder and CEO of Elegoo. He is known for his deep expertise in product development and e-commerce.
  • Anatol Locker, a journalist with extensive experience in tech publications, is co-founder and Chief Content Officer at All3DP.
  • Pablo Inventos is a prominent figure in 3D printing, with an insanely popular YouTube channel.
  • Joel or WildRoseBuilds: The Calgary-based 3D printing expert showcases the journey of creating complex, intricate designs through the power of 3D printing.
  • Everson, a.k.a. Geek Detour, is a former web developer who is now a 3D printing enthusiast. He is based in Spain and runs a popular YouTube channel.
  • Integza: The Portuguese YouTuber/Maker pairs science with fun and entertainment (and holds a grudge against tomatoes).

Don’t let time slip by! The contest kicked off on May 21st, 2024, and runs until June 16th, 2024, at 11:59 CET. Mark your calendars and make sure your entries are submitted before the deadline.

Conditions of Participation

1. Link to your design: You enter the competition by pointing us to a link to your 3D model. The design must be yours and be free of third-party / IP rights. The entry period ends on June 16th, 2024, at 11:59 CET.

2. Privacy and consent: By entering, participants consent to having their email addresses used for contest-related purposes, adhering to European GDPR guidelines. All information will be deleted after the competition.

3. Selection process: The winners will be chosen by an independent jury consisting of Elegoo and All3DP staff members and some 3D designers.

4. Eligibility: The contest is open to everyone except individuals under 18 years of age, employees of Elegoo or All3DP, and their immediate family members.

5. Alternative entry method: For those who prefer traditional methods, entries via letter or postcard are welcome at All3DP GmbH, Ridlerstrasse 31a, 80339 Munich, Germany.

6. Legalities: Participation excludes legal recourse.

7. Use of AI tools:

  1. Due to potential ethical problems caused by AI-generated copyrights, we advise against uploading models in a paid download form to model websites.
  2. Given the potential flaws in AI-generated models, we recommend not uploading unprocessed model files to other model sites or clearly marking their incompleteness to prevent wasting others’ time and resources.
  3. Elegoo and All3DP do not own the copyright to the models produced; the model generation platforms and individuals involved are responsible for all copyright responsibilities
