Known as one of the premier desktop 3D printer manufacturers for consumers and educators across the world, Flashforge has recently expanded its reach into the commercial market. This year, the manufacturer unveiled the Guider 3 and Guider 3 Plus, a dynamic duo that bolsters Flashforge’s professional 3D printer portfolio.

While both machines share certain commonalities, each intends to serve a different type of professional user. Flashforge Guider 3 is designed to serve small-to-medium sized enterprises who need rapid and low-cost production capabilities. On the other hand, Guider 3 Plus is a more sizable 3D printer designed to meet the production demands of large-scale models, such as art, movie props, architecture and more.

Flashforge believes that the Guider 3 is ideal for small-batch production or educational usage. The larger Plus model is better geared towards rapid prototyping and model-making. That said, both the Guider 3 and Guider 3 Plus offer high speed printing, a material management system, and other intuitive features that promote seamless operation and highly efficient output.

Flashforge Guider 3 Series Covers All of the Professional Bases

While the Flashforge Guider 3 and Guider 3 Plus offer different specs, both machines are feature-rich, aiming to reduce printing time and increase production capabilities.

Both machines are designed with an optimal CoreXY motion structure that supports high-speed 3D printing, low noise, and consistent stability. Due to this enhanced structure, the Guider 3 series is able to reach a maximum print speed of 250 mm/s. Whether the project is a large-scale object or small-batch production, this rapid speed allows users to increase output within small production floors or workspaces.

Both the Guider 3 and Guider 3 Plus offer a comprehensive and intuitive management system, which simplifies print operation and optimizes the full production flow. This system includes real-time printing monitoring and resume print functionality, allowing users to run the 3D printer continuously throughout all hours of the day and night.

By enabling both machines to operate 24 hours a day and seven days a week, professional users are able to accomplish their goals, from rapid prototyping and small-batch manufacturing. A more intuitive and efficient 3D printing process ensures that customers can respond faster to market demand.

Designed with an aluminum frame and brand-new fuselage structure, the Guider 3 series offers next-level stability throughout the printing process, even during high-speed production. Flashforge Guider 3 offers a modest 300 x 250 x 340mm build volume. The size-conscious design of the Guider 3 makes it ideal for workshops, school, and production floors that have minimal space to spare.

The larger Guider 3 Plus has a build volume of 350 x 350 x 600mm, enabling users to print in large-batches, or towering designs that require an expanded Z-axis.

Within the build chamber, the manufacturer has implemented a swappable build platform system in the Guider 3. Users can easily switch between a glass build platform and flexible steel plate platform. The bed leveling system combines auxiliary and automatic leveling to ensure precise leveling. The Guider 3 Plus is equipped with a flexible build plate that makes it easy to remove prints.

Flashforge Guider 3 and Guider 3 Plus are both equipped with a dual-gear extrusion nozzle that increases filament feeding force by 150%, reducing nozzle clogging and other problems that arise when printing with difficult materials.

With a maximum extruder temperature of 320°C, both 3D printer models support a wide range of materials, including ABS, PLA, PC, PA, HIPS, ASA, PETG, and more. There’s also a HEPA 13 filter to eliminate any unpleasant odors from materials, keeping it all within the build chamber.
