Hero Forge Raises $1.7 Million to 3D Print Full-Color Custom Miniatures
The website that brings users custom 3D printed tabletop miniatures and statuettes launched a Kickstarter campaign to offer full-color figures using - you guessed it - 3D printing.
Monochrome tabletop miniatures are so 2019. Hero Forge, the popular site for custom 3D printed tabletop miniatures is forging ahead, using a Kickstarter campaign to launch full-color custom miniatures.
The company’s goal was to secure $42,000, but it’s already been pledged more than $1.7 million by just over 20,000 people, with 23 days left to go.
The new platform the company is seeking funding for is called Hero Forge 2.0, which – along with a rainbow of color options – will also offer additions and advancements, producing new content more quickly than before.
