Lychee, formerly Mango 3D, has officially launched its “Lychee Library” 3D model repository. Announced in August alongside a full rebrand, the platform is built to act as a “seamless extension” of Lychee Slicer.
Not only will Lychee Library models be print-ready, they’ll also be “pre-supported” – meaning users ostensibly won’t have to worry about print preparation at all! Instead, they’ll search for, download, and print models from directly within Lychee Slicer, resulting in what Lychee calls a “single, effortless workflow”.
Lychee says it is working with “30 of the industry’s top innovators” to build a comprehensive model library, which will initially contain more than 1,000 models. New models will be added every month for both resin and filament 3D printers, and subscribed users can download unlimited models.
Lychee Library comes packaged with Lychee Slicer Plus – the full-featured version of the slicer –and starts at €19.99 per month or €199.99 per year, but users who sign up during the launch period can subscribe for €14.99 per month and €149.99 per year. Users can also sign up to become creators on Lychee Library, but they’ll first need to get in touch with Lychee.
