Cura is the free, open-source software which is easy-to-use for beginners and professionals alike from Ultimaker. The tool is undeniably the most common 3D slicer available.
Ultimaker has released a new version of the software for Windows, MacOS, and Linux users. Cura 3.6 offers new slicing features, improved UX and a convenient way to manage plug-ins and material profiles called the Marketplace.
Minor bugs such as MacOS compatibility, memory leaks in the Monitor page, and layer view display have also been resolved. You’ll find a reduced chance of your print head colliding with printed parts and fewer engine crashes when using Tree support structures, too.
You can download the Cura 3.6 version here. Let’s take a look at some of the changes.
