Prusa Research has told All3DP that its Pro SLX concept resin 3D printer will be on display at Formnext 2024 “in a very updated version.”

We first covered the Prusa Pro SLX earlier this year leading up to Rapid + TCT (where it was not present), but the concept machine was already a part of Prusa’s booth at last year’s Formnext.

Details about the system are vague, with the company promising a large build volume, automatic material handling, super fast prints, “validated workflows,” and support for “all dental applications.” We get Formlabs-esque vibes from those details and the sleek look of the machine.

We know from a Prusa blog article that the SLX is planned to use a 12K mono LCD panel and the company’s “signature vat tilting mechanism,” which presumably means the same mechanism as the SL1S Speed. Maybe we can pry more details out of them at next week’s event.
