In celebration of its seventh anniversary, Snapmaker has launched three new products.

First up is a slightly familiar face in the form of the Snapmaker J1s. The FDM machine serves as an upgraded version of the Snapmaker J1, which was released in November and boasts Independent Dual Extruders (IDEX) that Snapmaker says can reach print speeds of 350 mm/s.

The J1s arrives with all the features of its predecessor, as well as an extra cooling fan at the back panel (as opposed to only under the nozzles) in an effort to improve cooling during high-speed printing and lower ambient temperature when printing materials such as PLA – eliminating the need to remove the printer’s top panel when doing so. It’s worth noting, this tackles one of the major qualms we had with the J1 as noted in our guide to the best dual extruder 3D printers. The J1s arrives with its doors and side panels preinstalled, and comes with a spool of Breakaway Support for PLA filament (rather than white PLA), at an MSRP of $1,399.

Launching alongside the J1s – and not technically counted as one of Snapmaker’s anniversary products – is the Snapmaker J1 Print Cooling Fan Upgrade Kit, which is seemingly an extra fan that enables users to effectively turn their J1 into a J1s. Its MSRP is $59, but existing J1 owners who purchased their machine before June 15 can pick one up with a $25 discount.

Snapmaker has also released the Snapmaker 2.0 Quick Swap Kit “based on the quick swap mechanism used in the camera tripod and bicycle”. It’s compatible with all toolheads that can be used with its range of modular Snapmaker 2.0 machines and allows users to quickly change (in less than one minute, Snapmaker says) between 3D printer, CNC cutting and carving, and laser cutting and engraving functionalities.

Rounding out Snapmaker’s new products is the Snapmaker Artisan 3D printer: a 3D printing-only version of the Artisan 3-in-1 that features 300 °C dual extruders and a 400 x 400 x 400 mm build volume.

As the icing on top of the anniversary cake, Snapmaker is also holding a sale from today until June 29, during which Snapmaker 2.0 A350T and A250T machines are available for up to 33% off. There’s also a limited 12-hour sale on June 20 where you can grab a Snapmaker 2.0 F350 for $739 or a Snapmaker A350T and 10W High Power Laser Module bundle for $1,389.
