xTool has opened preorders for the four-in-one M1 Ultra, a machine capable of blade cutting, laser engraving, pen plotting, and inkjet printing. And as if that weren’t enough, the company has also announced a three-in-one “smart” heat press.

Both machines launch on July 10, 2024. The M1 Ultra is compatible with more than 1,000 materials, xTool says, and can work on cylindrical objects and materials up to 99 mm thick. The maximum work height rises to 125 mm with the optional riser accessory.

The M1 Ultra features a Class 1 diode laser for laser cutting, and boasts “pin-point positioning system” and smartphone camera integration that helps users make precise adjustments for projects.

There’s also a quick-swap system that aims to make changing toolsets easier, a laser-filtering top cover, a “stop-on-open” cover, and a smoke filtration system. xTool says the machine’s modular design makes it upgradeable, and promises that additional features will be available for it in the future.

Those who place a $50 deposit between now and July 9 can purchase an M1 Ultra for $1,199 – a substantial discount off the $1,699 MSRP.

The heat press, meanwhile, serves as a combined handheld, mini, and platform press, leveraging xTool’s proprietary (and seemingly modular) “EasyDetach” system, as well as “EasyControl Technology” that lets them fine-tune temperature and time settings to between 100-205 ºC and 1-600 seconds, respectively. xTool claims the heat press is also capable of heating quickly, with the mini press going from 20-205 ºC in just two minutes.

Safety features like an auto-off function, insulated base, and overheat and overcurrent protection round out the machine, for which exact pricing information will be made available on July 10 – although xTool says to expect somewhere in the $200-300 range.

In addition to the M1 Ultra discount, users who place a deposit will also receive a 10% discount on the heat press, as well as a few other goodies and discounts on other xTool products. For more there – as well as additional information and specs for both the M1 Ultra and heat press – check out the devices’  product page on xTool’s website.

Correction: An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated the M1 Ultra can cut materials up to 99 mm thick. The standard maximum work height is 99 mm, not cutting depth.
