DyeMansion and EOS just announced a strategic partnership. They will provide professional customers a high-quality, full plastic AM production chain.

DyeMansion, the German company specialized in the professional finishing of prints, and EOS, the world’s leading manufacturer of SLS 3D printers, have announced a strategic partnership. The companies are combining their portfolios, thus providing a full polymer 3D printing process chain to customers.

At Formnext this year, EOS was exhibiting their additive manufacturing portfolio. This included their new polymer production system EOS P500.

Meanwhile, DyeMansion was premiering the ‘Print-to-Product’ process for de-powdering, surfacing, and coloring of prints. As a result of their complementary portfolios, the companies are coming together to form a strategic alliance.

Tey are now building on an existing partnership which was formed two years ago, as reported by All3DP. However, this time around, the companies are combining their strengths.

“We are proud that EOS has selected DyeMansion as a strategic solution partner. Together we are able to offer the ‘Print-to-Product’ workflow to the most demanding AM customers worldwide. Since the product launch at formnext 2016, DyeMansion has delivered more than 70 systems which proves the great acceptance of their solution portfolio. Now together with EOS, we have a strong partner who will help us serving even more AM customers around the world,” said Kai Witter, Director Global Sales, DyeMansion.

Showing the World an Effective AM Workflow

EOS will firstly be using the DyeMansion ‘Print-to-Product’ workflow equipment. At their headquarters in Krailling, Germany, the company intends on showing its capabilities off to customers.

They hope to provide customers with high-quality, full plastic AM production chains and show them how quick and easy the process can be.

“We are happy to be one of the first companies working with the brand-new EOS P500 demonstration parts. The system’s productivity will definitely have a big impact on the industry. The global technology and quality leadership of EOS in the plastic laser sintering market fit perfectly to the approach of DyeMansion providing all big players in the additive manufacturing market with a post-processing technology enabling high-end finishing and coloring. Finally, we have the perfect combination to enable all the high potential manufacturing projects in AM worldwide,” said Felix Ewald, CEO & Co-founder, DyeMansion.
