Anyone who has ever used a GoPro Hero or Hero 2 probably knows how tough these cameras are. And they do a pretty good job in taking underwater video footage. No matter, whether you go scuba-diving, snorkeling, jet-skiing, surfriding or fishing: the GoPro captures almost any type of water activity with high precision.

When filming underwater, you usually carry the camera. But what if you wish to put the camera on the seabed or on rocks to film yourself or marine creatures swimming by? Putting the GoPro camera on the sandy or slurry ground is no good idea.

This is why designer Datheus created a simple 3D printed stand that is attached to the GoPro and keeps it firmly seated on the seabed, on rocks, on a surfboard (of course, you  have to fasten it to the board) or any other surface. Datheus Feet GoPro also allows the camera to be tilted.

The Feet GoPro is available from Sculpteo; prices starting at $70.It can be printed in plastic, resin, multicolor or alumide. It measures 140 x 140 x 29 mm.

The Feet GoPro allows you to record marine life as shown in the video:
