Halloween is here, and that means the minions of darkness are not far behind. Protect yourself with this 3D printed candy corn launcher.
Don’t Miss:
Love it, hate it? Whatever your relationship with candy corn, there’s no denying the vegetable-themed confection is as Halloween-ey as the spooky ghosts, zombies and other pint-sized revelers that’ll be asking for them.
So why not spread these orange, yellow and white niblets in style through two barrels of Halloween-themed vengeance.
It’s called, unimaginatively, the Double Barrel Candy Corn Launcher. A five piece 3D print (across four STL files), creator DragonflyFabriction states on the model’s Thingiverse page that it’s possible to fabricate the launcher in a single print. So it’s not too late to get a slice of the action if you’re reading this mere hours before the spookfest commences.

In addition to a 3D printer and enough filament, you’ll need a handful of elastic bands. Four “small” ones to provide elastic tension to fire, and two “medium” ones to secure the corn shooter to your wrist.
A smart piece of design work, DragonflyFabrication’s Candy Corn gun is snap-together and prints without supports. It also includes a split firing mechanism. This means that you can fire each barrel individually, or together, should you wish.
In fact, printed in black filament, it has a somewhat realistic look about it. Rather than dishing out Halloween candy in an overly aggressive manner, the Candy Corn Launcher could be the ideal compliment to an array of sci-fi and video game costumes. It has a hint of Assassin Creed’s hidden gun cannon about it, if you ask us.
Projectiles up to 10mm in diameter are said to work. But play it safe folks. Stick to squishy candies.
