Another awesome Pinshape competition gives you the chance to win a Form 2 3D printer by simply creating a unique bike accessory.

To celebrate Pinshape joining the Formlabs family, they’re holding the competition in order to see who can create a bike accessory that expands your bike’s capabilities or makes riding your bike more fun.

According to their contest page: “We love the practical designs our community shares on Pinshape – that’s why we can’t wait to see what you come up with for our bike accessory contest!”

The contest ends on 30 June 2016 at 23:59:59 PST, and the lucky winner will receive a Form 2 3D printer to the value or $3499 USD.

However, if you don’t manage to secure first place, Pinshape are offering a Wacom Intuos Creative Pen and Touch Tablet for second place and a $100 GC to Pure Cycles for both second and third place.

How to Enter the Bike Accessory Competition?

All you need to do in order to enter is to design any accessory which is fit for a bike – it’s as simple as that.

Once you have created your masterpiece, upload it to Pinshape and make sure to check the “Submit this model to the Bike Accessory Design Contest” box on the upload form.

However, keep in mind the fact that entries cannot have been previously submitted to a Pinshape contest, and you must be registered to enter.

The judges for the competition this year are Zachary Frew, the new community manager at Pinshape, and legendary designer Agustin Flowalistik.

Their criterion for judging includes; 40 points for technical excellence and ease of printing, 20 points for design functionality and application, 20 points for design creativity and 20 points for presentation. This could include the image quality, print settings and, if required assembly instructions.

The competition is open worldwide and there is no fee to enter the challenge either, so what is your excuse? Entrants can enter as many unique entries as they would like too, so get designing.

Visit this page for more information and the winner will be announced in the week following the end of the contest, in a post on the Pinshape blog. If you’re a winner, you’ll be contacted directly by the Pinshape team. Good luck!
