Designed and invented by former Kawasaki R&D manager James Cooke, the small 3D printed bicycle chain lubrication device claims to reduce lube by 30% while delivering up to 40% more drivetrain life. It got rave reviews over at RikeRumor. Sure, if sales skyrocket, the company may injection mold these parts, but to bring a functional product to market without the huge upfront investment, 3D printing was the answer.
