In fact, in a report from The Defense Post, contractor CoAspire just announced the successful test-launch of its 3D printed missile, the (RAACM) Rapidly Adaptable Affordable Cruise Missile, which the U.S. Government has spent more than $10M developing.

3D printing, additive manufacturing is exploding across our army," said U.S Lt. Gen. Christopher Mohan at a recent symposium where he showed off 3D printed titanium drone parts. The Army is printing ten 20-pound drones a week, Mohan told Breaking Defense, with the possibility of scaling to 10,000 a month. "We're ready to pay a premium for readiness."
