Hackday Europe 2025 Kicks Off This Weekend in Berlin

The event is a hardware-focused, "informal show-and-tell" for creators and designers, with workshops, demos, speakers and other activities for the technologically minded.

Hackaday Europe 2025 – an event described as an “informal show-and-tell” for designers and creators of tech hardware – is set for this weekend, March 15-16 at MotionLab in Berlin.

Workshops on chip design (as one example), speakers, live demos – the activities here run the gamut, with a keynote speech entitled “What If the Future (of Electronics) Was Compostable?” from Arduino co-founder David Cuartielles.

Although it looks like many of these are sold out, as of writing there are a few general admission tickets left. They go for $156.57 and include food and drink, plus admittance to a Saturday party that will run “late into the night”.

Additionally, all attendees receive a “hackable” badge compatible with a variety of simple add-ons (SAOs) that allows them to be customized. Not only is this a cool party favor, it seems like a great way to spend time during the event itself.

Also worth noting is a pre-party scheduled for 6 PM on Friday, March 14 at the Jockel Biergarten in Berlin. It’s an informal event, which means no tickets are necessary.
